Coaching Purpose and Philosophy

My purpose in life is simple — to enable people to be at their best.

I help individuals understand their potential, harness their strengths and remove the barriers that hold them back.

As a coach, I believe everyone has immense potential — often far beyond what they see for themselves. Many people limit their growth unknowingly. My role is to shine a light on who they are now, help them uncover what they want to change, and support them in creating the tools and strategies to bridge that gap.

The metaphor that best describes my coaching philosophy, particularly when working with neurodivergent individuals, is that of a lighthouse. A lighthouse symbolises guidance, protection, safety, and resilience. My purpose as a coach is to shine a steady light on where people are in their current reality — and to help them navigate the storms of work and life with confidence and clarity.

Clients often tell me that my natural energy, honesty, compassion and warmth, combined with a straightforward and challenging style, help them shift perspectives, see their potential differently and find the courage to achieve their goals and ambitions.

My Journey

In 2015, my middle son was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism at the age of six. It was a significant moment for us as a family — and a personal turning point for me. Around that time, I began to recognise many of the same ADHD traits in myself.

For years I reflected on this both personally and professionally, and in 2024, I made a conscious decision to be open about my ADHD and to embrace the unique difference it brings.

In March 2025, I undertook specialist training with Oxford Brookes University, successfully completing a course in Coaching Neurodivergent Individuals. That same year, I reimagined my business to include new programmes focused on coaching and training for neurodivergent individuals and managers.

Today, I fully embrace being neurodivergent, celebrating the focus, energy and creativity that come with it. My purpose is now crystal clear — to be a lighthouse for as many individuals and managers as possible, providing stability, clarity, optimism, and strength on their journey and illuminating the path ahead.

Background & Experience

I have spent over 25 years in the corporate arena, working as both a manager and, more recently, as an executive coach and leadership facilitator.

02

Consulting

I then moved into consulting, successfully leading organisational restructuring and transformation projects across both private and public sectors.

From there, I retrained as a psychotherapist and coach, shifting my focus toward enabling leaders and aspiring leaders to become the best version of themselves.
